Chantae' Vetrice, native New Yorker who considers herself a citizen of the world, currently resides in New York City and is in the studio working on her second project after the successful release of her first single "Vain," (produced by Johnny "Bravo" Rayborn of Chicago, IL) that is AVAILABLE NOW on all major platforms. Outside of music, she is a lover of fashion & beauty...her bold look has landed her an artist sponsorship with the wildly famous cosmetics brand MANIC PANIC NYC (home of Tish&Snooky), which has been known to support many musicians over the years!

"To create something from nothing is one of the greatest feelings , and I would  - I don't know, I wish it upon everybody. It's heaven." - Prince.

Growing up in a musical family (daughter of an artist manager/label exec, niece of an accomplished pianist,  and granddaughter of a singer/painter) she was introduced to her talent at a very young age. As most of those in music, she started in the church choir and eventually took her craft to another level by becoming professionally trained, vocally, and learning to play the piano and violin. Throughout her teenage years, Chantae' participated in music during high school which would lead her to pursue her love of singing after college. While attending Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA she began networking with some of music's top producers (Jazze Pha who discovered Ciara, Dallas Austin who is known for TLC and many others, Bryant Reid - brother of LA Reid, and countless artists). Eventually, she grabbed the attention of Kenny Kornegay aka "K-Smoove," who produced for artists such as Case, New Edition, Boyz II Men, Mary J. Blige, etc. They worked together on a girl group but Chantae' knew she was a solo artist and they parted ways...they still remain friends. After leaving the group, she relocated to Ibiza, Spain where she would reside for 2 years...working on her music, developing her artistry, and becoming the Chantae' Vetrice we know today. Her sound takes inspiration from Janet Jackson, Gwen Stefani, and Prince.

From magazine covers, such as Ibiza Style, to cultivating relationships with some of the world's top DJs such as Dj Roger Sanchez, the two-year Ibiza adventure proved valuable. She also became the "it" girl of Ibiza Rocks (only live music festival on the island) and developed a close bond with the owners who she is still friends with today.

The past couple of years leading up to the release of "Vain" have been a roller coaster ride...from being the face of Bacardi for Swizz Beats' NoCommission (worldwide and Art Basel Miami) to the video gaining almost 300,000 views without the help of a label. Chantae' is preparing for her next big moment and as she always says, "You ain't gotta get ready if you stay ready."
